Are you trying to break a bad behavior and keep falling off the wagon?
Every single moment is an opportunity to make or break our relationship with ourselves, with others, and with a higher power. When we break it, we're so blessed, because we have the next moment to make it, and “Get Back on the Wagon!”
Lose your temper? Get back on the wagon!
Didn't stick to your diet? Get back on the wagon!
Miss your workout today? Get back on the wagon!
Get caught in self-pity? Get back on the wagon!
Lose your faith in a higher power? Get back on the wagon!
Did you know that relapse is actually a normal part of addiction recovery? The addiction you're breaking is fear. If you want things in your life to change, you must change your definition of life. The most important statement you will ever make is, "I AM." Be careful how you finish that sentence.
- I am whole vs. I am broken
- I am healthy vs. I am sick
- I am empowered vs. I am addicted
In order to feel confident and have success in life, you need to feel good about the majority of the choices that you make. Every time you make a choice in a positive direction, you not only invest in yourself, you invest in your children, and in the future of this planet. When you don’t make the best choice, the important thing is that you learn from it, grow from it, and get back on the wagon, back on the wagon!
Every single moment in your life is an opportunity to let go and move on. You have an infinite number of possibilities that exist for you right now, most of which you are not even aware of. People cling so tightly to their pitiful stories and it prevents them from moving forward. You may fail a million times, but if you keep getting back up, getting back up, getting back up, you will succeed. Sometimes we need to abstain from something 100% for a period of time in order to come back into balance.
The next time you fall off that wagon, can you dust yourself off, let go and get back on the wagon?
